A proud alumna of Vijayanta Senior Secondary School, Kumud Banerjee (fondly remembered as Kumari Kumud, during her school days) is a multi-talented individual, with rich academic and professional journey. A Chemistry graduate from Anna Adarsh, she went on to complete her Masters in Public Administration from Madras University, a Postgraduate degree in Computer Applications and a MBA in PM & IR from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.

She served as HR Executive at EICHER for 5 years before choosing to embrace the role of a full-time homemaker in 2001. An avid reader, polyglot, creative writer and artist, Kumud beautifully balances family, community service and her personal passions.

As a proud member of the VSSS Alumni family, Kumud extends her heartfelt wishes and warm greetings to all her fellow alumni as our school gears up for the Golden Jubilee celebrations of VSSS and the Silver Jubilee of VMHSS, on 27th July 2025.
