We take immense pride in spotlighting Dr. D. Tamilvani, a distinguished alumna of VSSS, 2004 batch. From her school days at VSSS, she demonstrated exceptional academic brilliance and a deep sense of compassion — qualities that have defined her medical career.

She completed her MBBS from Chengalpattu Government Medical College, followed by DGO from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. Pursuing her passion for women’s health, she went on to earn her DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Public Health Centre, Chennai.

Dedicated to service, Dr. Tamilvani served at a charity hospital for three years, offering care to underprivileged communities and embodying the values instilled during her time at VSSS. She now serves as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Madha Medical College and Research Institute, Kovur, nurturing future medical professionals with knowledge and integrity.

As we celebrate the Golden Jubilee of VSSS, it is alumni like Dr. Tamilvani who reflect the legacy of our school through their achievements and service to society. She remains a proud member of the VSSS Alumni Association, actively supporting alumni initiatives and development programs.

Her journey stands as a shining example for current students and fellow alumni, reaffirming the spirit of unity, service, and excellence that VSSS represents.
